Summary

Tail tidy light/blinker assembly for Husqvarna FE's (and probably KTM EXC/XCF-W's).
Model years known to work:
2017-2023
2024-? (Until this gen ends or has a rework of the tail lights)

Confirmed on a 2021 FE350 and 2024 FE501s

To complete this assembly you will need:
-2x M3 heat inserts for light attachment

-2x M3x20~25mm screws to attach light. Recommend stainless or zinc plated.

-Some way to hold your license plate. I just use the cheap KTM plastic part.
Others are more fancy with magnetic setups.

-(Optional) 10mm stalk blinkers of your choice. There are locating holes for the stock KTM blinkers and others that fit the same.

The assembly bolts to the existing fender on your bike using the stock tail light holes and screws. Be careful threading those chonker self tappers in. Recommend heating them up if possible.

Print this part ideally in something strong like ABS. Use functional component print settings like a minimum of 4x walls and 40% fill. The Voron Print settings are a good start.

If you're like me, you took one semi-hard or harder ride on your shiny new bike, and the back fell off. A dirtbike hit a bump in the woods? Never. Chance in a million really.
(Bonus points to those who get the reference).

Most of us are of course convinced Husky and KTM expect everyone to rip the stock tail off once the bike is sold, and so it's designed flimsy. This leaves your typical new owner with two options:
Take the upper brake light and bolt it where the tail was, and bolt your plate to the fender. Screw your blinkers into the fender.

Or

Make or find a new tail system.

The former leaves your blinkers exposed and you without a license plate light. Those of us stuck with inspections enjoy this situation.

So I chose the latter. Design a bracket that bolts in place of where the light would be, that would hold a COTS light that included a license plate light, while retaining the option to use any old 10mm stalk blinker (to include the stockers).

This part is designed to work with the True North Motos tail light, which is an all in one unit with lic plate and blinkers. I don't use the blinker function (inspections again and I don't trust our local drivers to be able to see that blinker).

The wire on the TNM light comes out of the center. I think, but am not sure, the TacoMoto one is the same there.
