The adapter between 1/4'' standard camera mount and HTC VIVE ball mount for lighthouse. The original adapter has been a incredible job, but as far as I try, I cannot put a standard 1/4'' nut in the center pocket, because the original design had only 10.5mm hole. (standard 1/4'' nuts have size of 11.1mm)
I could not find the proper nuts that maybe is used by original author. So I modified the original design little bit so that we can fit standard nuts can fit.
On the pictures, black one is original author's, and white one is new design.
Additional hardware needed:
1x standard tripod(1/4'') nut, having size less than 11.5mm
2x M5 screws
2x M5 nuts
(※ size of the nut here is defined by the distance between parallel edges, not vertices of the hexagon)
The modified FreeCAD file is supplied along with the generated STL file.
