HP Thin Client T630 is a cool machine with dual M.2 slots for SSDs. The only downside is that one slot supports 2242, 2260 and 2280 drive sizes, while the other one supports only 2242.
I've created this simple extender to allow for dual 2280 SSDs to be mounted. The extender is fixed on two points so it doesn't allow for movement and thus the SSD is mounted solidly. On the top side near the speaker, the extender is hooked to the motherboard. On the other side it is screwed to the original 2242 position .
Additional hardware needed is one M2 threaded insert of height 2.5mm and two M2x3mm screws. One screw for fixing the extender in place and the second one for mounting the SSD.
This extender is limited for single sided SSDs only, since the SSD sits flat on the extender.
