there is not many great options for the howa 1500 since the knob isnt threaded so i created this, it fits almost the same way the mdt cover does.
you will need to print 2 cover pieces (i orientated them with the half moon sections on the bed of the printer)
once this is complete take any stringers off and clean up the edges a bit. you will want both covers to hug the factory bolt ball while coming together pretty flush with each other.
pick you favorite glue and put a couple dabs on the factory ball and now press the 2 pieces together.
the slip over piece can be printed with the hole facing up. make the part as clean as possible inside the hole. it will be a press on fit around the 2 halves (a hair dryer makes the slip on go over the halves pretty easily.
once its slipped on it should lock the 2 halves together and completely encapsulate the factory bolt ball. i put a little flat on the slip part for people with wider scopes
