Trijicon RMR to Holosun 407k / 507k adapter plate for Brownells Glock 17/19 RMR cut slide or MOS
Version 2 Will require the slide posts to be shaved down about 1.5mm or so, you will also need to grind away some material from the 3mm nut and bolt
m3 bolt total length is 9.45 m3 nut total length is 1.7mm after shaving material away
have not used v2 as I am not wiling to modify my slide just yet
Version 5 Will require just a very light sanding on the bolts as well as the front and back of the adapter for a tight friction fit
unmodified screw length is 11.9mm
designed to be printed with resin
V5_2_R utilizes V2 screws with m3 nuts filed down on both sides to 1.95mm, clean out the edges where the nut seats before curing. when assembled the nuts create a small gap in the rear but seat flush once the sight is clamped down
UPDATE -standard resin isn't gonna cut it, put a mag through it and it shattered in almost the same exact way. I've printed it now in polymax pc at a .15 adaptive layer height with a .2mm nozzle and 30% infill, the original design will work for fdm so long as you deburr the edges on the bottom and the mounting holes
UPDATE #2 -have tried siraya tech blu, had the fluid preheated to around 90ºF and printed a batch of 4 flat on the bed. Held up surprisingly well, but the wall broke (I suspect the screws securing the adapter came loose). PC also failed with 35%, I believe the failure was due to not printing with an enclosure. Also tried printing with 100% infill, but it would not stay on the bed.
