Inspired by Cpt Flint's map in the movie treasure planet.
I always liked the design and the metallic look to it!
I went for a balance between having it look screen accurate and being able to print it.
The major lines are the same, but the smaller details are made a bit bigger.
There are 2 versions, a full one and one that's split into halves (both have a shell).
I personally printed the split version, I didn't need any supports that way.
I first made a version that could screw together but as the shell is relatively thin, this would end up braking and it was easier to just sand it down and glue it together.
Hope you have some fun making it yourself and maybe a bit more patience in sanding than me :p and I'd love to see your result!
