Because there must be added tolerances to account for inaccuracies when 3d printing and sometimes these tolerances change from printer to printer. I print this out to gauge what size holes I will actually have to put in my models if I wanted a thru hole for a screw for example.
It is layed out in a grid. X axis represent 0.1 additions to size while the Y-axis is 1mm additions in size. for example the first two rows are...
1 1.1 1.2 1.3 1.4 1.5 1.6 1.7 1.8 1.9 [mm]
2 2.1 2.2 2.3 2.4 2.5 2.6 2.7 2.8 2.9 [mm] ... and so on.
