This is a holder for a Hitachi 14.4V drill and it's accessories. The model name is DS14DBL(HW). It came as a complete set with two batteries, quickcharger, a handle and the drill. Probably not in sale anymore as they have moved on to higher voltages and new models. But these are good machines that work for years, so why not have a mount for easy access if you got one of these?
It was made to be screwed onto a metal pegboard with 12x12mm (0.47 inches)hole spacing. Holes are 4.6mm (0.18 inches) and the screw head is about 9mm (0.35 inches) in diameter. But you can just as well put it on a wall to.
The battery holder can also be used as a pretty rugged battery cap if you need an easily replaceable cap you don't have to worry about losing.
