This is a hinged small parts box with a latch. Very useful for holing onto small piece like screw, nuts, resisters, etc. The lid is flush against the top of the base so it can be jostled or turned upside down and everything will stay in place while the latch keeps the lid closed.
There are thumb pads on the lids and base to make it easier to open and close.
The hinge can be attached using 4 M3x25mm machine screws. The hole tolerances should be tight enough to keep the screws in place but still allow the lid to open fairly smoothly.
Don't have any screw's? No problem! I've designed a version with a snap hinge for the lid. No need for screws. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3458894
