The file 'Higher Voltage VAWT 3D Printer Model' is (ods,STL,lua) file type, size is 791.6KB.
Files for a small VAWT.
Other parts to complete the project are:
(Qty 1) 6mm dia x 100m steel shaft,
(Qty 1) 6mm ball bearing,
(Qty 1) 6mm ID x 10mm OD x 10mm bronze bushing,
(Qty 20) 12mm dia x 3mm thick neodymium magnets,
magnet wire to suit. (I used 163 turns of 32AWG wire for a lower voltage version, and 699 turns of 38AWG for a higher voltage version)
The spreadsheet is a LibreOffice file.
The .lua files are for FEMM.
I found that I had to open the ID of the bronze bushing just a bit using a small (1/4" dia) round file. It didn't take a lot, but the tolerances were so tight that the shaft would bind if I didn't.
