Out of protest of:
- Thingiverse's monetization of open source creators' labors (ads on all download links and required download wait period, with no ad revenue offered to creators)
- Thingiverse's continued poor user experience practices (removal of download all button)
- Thingiverse's abusive handling of adblockers (showing "Something went wrong." and denying access)
- Thingiverse's unreliability, poor performance, and frequent unavailability.
- Makerbot's disinterest in investing in their product, maintaining it, or pushing for feature parity with competition;
All of my designs (past and future) will no longer be available on Thingiverse. Old models have been moved, and new models with not be posted to Thingiverse.
