This is a device for holding back hernia in the navel. You also need a ball, the size of a golf ball and a soft belt preferably elastic. You can also fasten the device using a string for a short time or emergency. The comfort with a string is bad.
The ball can be a foam golf ball or a table tennis ball or what ever is at hand.
An official hernia support from a pharmacy or doctor, is big and expensive, but obviously of a better quality. This is meant as a temporary alternative or if you can't afford the real thing.
Also if you are an emergency doctor, this can fit in your bag with a belt and a ball, for quick release or as a way to cover a bleeding wound in an arterial blood vessel.
I did try to get a patent on this idea, but it was too expensive.
