The Hemingworth thread comes with a nice clear plastic cap that protects the thread and keeps it from unwinding. Unfortunately the OESD thread spool is too large for the Hemingworth cap. This adapter connects the Hemingworth cap to the OESD thread spool base. It raises the cap by several millimeters.
