Summary

This is an adjustable stand system for 3D Helmets. You choose a base:

  • Triangle - holes at each corner for screwing down to a shelf
  • Weight - requires a standard weight from a weight lifting set - used to paint the helmets
  • 2x4 - this will allow you to mount to the short side of a 2x4 with 2 screws

Then choose your legs to adjust the height (multiple can be used):

  • 25mm
  • 43mm
  • 50mm
  • 100mm

Then put the top on:

  • TopStand - this is the part the helmet sits on

Adjust it as you like to get the desired height. I print it with supports in the positions shown. On the legs, if you use organic supports as I did, you will need a razor blade to get the supports off. Just cut off about 3 mm where it meats the part, then it will unscrew and leave a perfect screw shape. The rest of the parts you will have no issue with them coming off easy as there is more to grab.
