The file 'Height Gauge 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 525.5KB.
This is a height gauge I wanted for my shop on the table saw and router table.
I made it so it can be calibrated before use. I took the time to lightly sand the top of the calibration flange to sharpen the points just a bit to increase the accuracy of the gauge.
The rule holder can either ride the tool or bit up to the desired height or you can set a height and lock it in using the rear knob.
I ran a 4mm tap into the locking knob hole so that it would screw in and out smoothly without any resistance.
I put 4mm holes in the rule holder and the feet of the gauge body for small magnets. The gauge also uses the following...
4 pcs. 4mm x 10mm cap screws for the calibration flange
4 pcs. 4mm flat washers for the calibration flange
1 pcs. 4mm x 30mm cap screw for the rear lock knob (use a touch of CA or tap the locking hole in the gauge body so that the knob will not spin freely on the screw)
1 pc Starrett 6" steel rule part number C303R-6
If you have any suggestions on how to improve this gauge please feel free to let me know otherwise enjoy and I hope it helps you in your own creative endeavors.
