Summary

This is a remix. I wanted to have a stylish wall mount for my Bose QuietComfort 35 and therefore adapted a stylish wall mount I found here at Thingiverse.

This object is a remix of the design by Jeroen_H. I adapted his design to be wall mountable.

The original headphone stand can be found here:

The object must be printed in two parts: the wall mount and the headphone rest. The wall mount can be attached to the wall using 2 screws and 2 plugs. There is no need to glue the headphone rest to the headphone mount, it is a snap fit. However, for extra firmness the two parts can be glued together.

In order to attach the wall mount to the wall I used two screws of 4.0 x 40 and two SD 6 plugs. The screw gap in the wall mount has a diameter of 9 mm. The screw hole is 3 mm in the wall mount with a taper angle of 35 degrees in order for a smooth fit of the screw.

The model was printed in two separate parts on my Creality Ender 3 and sliced in Cura. I used 1.75 mm black PLA from the brand REAL.

It is recommended that you print this model with thicker than usual walls because the arched frame is quite thin. Doing so, ensures a really sturdy headphone mount that does not flex under the weight of your headphones.

The hardest part to print is the headphone rest. See tips for printing the headrest in the Post-Printing section
