This is a remix of: Yet ANOTHER Headphone Hanger by Prot0typ1cal on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4479366
Unfortunately, my kids headphones are 43 and 45mm wide. Since none of the hooks in his design fit it, I expanded the hook design to 50mm. No issues with this extension with respect to strength. The original kernel and original clamp are included. In my case, since one of the desks is glass at 4mm, I bumped up the clamp in the Z axis by 2mm to 112mm in my slicer to ensure good engagement to the desk.
UPDATE: The glass table hook broke after a months use, right where I thought it was weak (the 90 degree interface at the glass desk snapped). I have added a simple 45 degree joint to distribute forces and reinforce the original 90 degree joint. Time will tell if the second printed I made of the original will hold up or also snap at the 90 degree joint, but that's a wooden desk so maybe it will fair better. I will keep you updated. My kids are as rough as it gets -- so time will tell if the new design holds up.
