I made this round housing for a HC-SR04 distance sensor and an Arduino Nano. I wanted it to look industrial.
It also has a slot for the tiny dc-dc converter on Ebay. If you prefer the LM2596 converter it will fit also, but you will need to glue it in place with a couple of blobs of silicone. You might want to do the same with the HC-SR04.
To use the clamp you will need (2) 8-32 or 10-32 screws X 3" long.
I don't have a good way to secure the back cover so I put 2 holes in the housing near the cover. Slip a wire tie through there and secure the cover that way.
Leave everything orientated the way it is when you print. The housing and cover are on a 45 degree angle to the print bed so when your printer starts printing diagonally, it will come out straight on the face of the housing.
Happy sensing!
