These are reinforcing brackets designed for the upper corners of bookshelves, particularly low-cost bookshelves that begin to lean and buckle after several years. You place them in the upper and lower corners of your shelf, drill a hole thru the wood panels, and run a bolt thru the hole on each end of the bracket. with one of these in each corner the shelf should become much more stable. you could also go overboard and use one for each individual shelf, making the entire unit even more stable. Such a setup also helps when moving the shelves as this is the time they are most vulnerable.
My fiance has several book shelves that are leaning and buckling so I thought of something simple but strong that would fix it.she is also a harry potter fan so I found these HP badges to put on the brackets so they aren't just plastic blocks. I've included a blank one if you do not want to use HP theme, or if you want to design your own.
