I wanted an easy to access hardware box that matched the parts boxes that I use for my 3d printer.
Harbor Freight does not offer one in this size/type with more than 20 bins.
(Hence, I designed this mod)
By replacing the bins that came in the case with these printed smaller ones the case now contains 48 individual bins. (44 small bins and 2 double bins are required)
I intentionally made them a little larger, hoping to keep the hardware separated better. It does make the lid a little bit harder to close.
When replacing all of the bins with small ones, due to asymmetrical case construction, 4 small bins will not sit flat. You will need to print two double bins. There is a picture included to show were they need to be installed.
I have included the FREECAD & STL files to make mods easy.
Please adjust as you would like.
