I designed this from scratch using Fusion 360 for the Hanson Pi Hat 28D+ for my Christmas light display.

The Pi Hat is supplied with 4 plastic risers and screws which utilised the bottom Raspberry Pi mounting holes. Problem was I couldn't figure out a way to mount this into a case (I used the Hanson boxes http://www.hansonelectronics.com.au/product/box-390x290x160/
3D printing to the rescue! This design uses the four base screws inside the Pi riser so that it sits flush to the box base plate. The four holes on the outside can then be used to mount the Pi/PiHat to the box base plate using M2.5 screws I used from old PC cases. Easy to take it out by just removing the 4 screws and the entire unit comes out as one.
If you enjoy the print, you can buy me a beer, see my profile.
