The Korean alphabets or Hangul is a type of script that is characterized by having both alphabetical and syllabic nature. Each character represents a syllable, including the final sound or pacchim while each part works as "an alphabet letter" representing either a vowel or consonant.

The shapes of the Hangul alphabets consist of lines, circles, and triangles. Therefore every Hangul letter can be constructed with those basic shapes. This is a great thing; even if you are short of letters that you need -- happens all the time -- if you have those basic shapes, you can make up any of letters that you need.

Here I created 3D printed basic shapes of the Hangul alphabets. The basic set consists of lines, a circle, and a triangle. You can make any Hangul characters with those basic shapes. Meanwhile, some formed letters are handy as that they do not need any assembly.

On the back side, there are holes for magnets (5mm x 1mm). I used neodymium magnets and used a hot glue gun. While they are available at good prices, they are strong enough for holding the letters. You can put your writing on your fridge or on any metal.

The uploaded photos show the assembled images of the 3D printed Hangul alphabets (it says Hangul).
