The file 'Hands Free Wash Bottle Squeezer 3D Printer Model' is (stl,f3z) file type, size is 1.0MB.
This Hands Free Wash Bottle Squeezer is the perfect accessory for a clean-room lab. It allows researchers to apply isopropanol, acetone, water, or any other chemical wash hands-free. Without the need to squeeze the bottle, researchers don't need to change gloves as often. This accessory also makes cleaning components easier to do solo. I and others in my lab group use the hands-free wash bottle squeezer to prepare and clean components for use in ISO8/7/6/5 environments.
If used in a cleanroom, make sure to use a cleanroom-safe filament. PETG has a very low outgassing rate and is a near-ideal material. Nylon has the added benefit of being resistant to acetone and other chemical solvents.
Always wear proper PPE when handling concentrated chemicals. Even though this is hands-free, make sure to still wear gloves.
The attached zip file is a video of the bottle squeezer in action. As an example, I was using a 500ml Nalgene wash bottle. I believe most 500 ml bottles should fit but if you want to make sure, the inner diameter of the bottle holder is 77mm. The bottle pictured is about 74mm in diameter and fits easily.
The design of this model may change slightly in the future to fit reccomendations for improvement by the grad-students in my lab but it functions perfectly well as-is. Any improvements made will be minor.
