The file 'Hamster “Portal” Tunnel – For Connecting Boxes, Bins Or Cages 3D Printer Model' is (stl, scad) file type, size is 762.1KB.
Behold, the Hamster Portal - For all your little pets that want to move from one Amazon prime box to another...
Description/Backstory: This thing was created to connect cardboard boxes, or "hamster playgrounds" as my children refer to them, together in flexible yet secure configurations.
Directions: 1. Make a hole. 2. Screw them together. 3. Watch little Fluffy run between realms.
This should work well with plastic bins and other material too. Enjoy and as always....
If you print it, please share your Make! It's almost like getting paid :)
For the record, I've been against the whole "let's get a hamster" thing, but it has made me think about how crazy the pet market is and how many little things could be improved. (like hamster wheels)
UPDATE: added a "cap" at the request of TOTALLYDUUD so "the little fella doesn't escape" while cleaning a cage. See his Make!
Update 2021-05: Removed the stl that included both parts since one didn't lay flat. If printing both, simply add both files to your build slicer.
PS: The OpenSCAD files require Dan Kirshner's Screw Thread library.
