The inspiration for this is based on the Thwacker. Mine is weight adjustable. The small end unscrews and you can load the head with BB's, lead shot, or pennies (25 of them.... get it.... the Quarter Pounder). You can partially load the head so it will work as a dead blow mallet too. There is built in support under the handle so no need to generate them. There is also an axe cap that uses a standard utility blade. I have no idea if this is practical but I thought it was a cool touch. This will work as a light, non marring tap hammer or meat mallet for the kitchen.
I added the body with no supports as requested in the comments. I also added a body with less aggressive knurling pattern. Less nooks and crannies for support to get into.
