This project started because I am currently in my last few terms in my mechanical engineering course. Naturally, these last few terms are comprised of the most difficult classes, my thesis, and on-the-job training. I thought to myself that I would barely have time during the day to fly FPV. At the same time, I felt that I had outgrown my basic whoop build at that time and wanted to move into something more capable.
It was during this time that I wanted to try a new frame design, one that was an accumulation of information and experience from various pilots I've had the fortune to speak to and learn from. The Hachidorii V2 is the product of a considerable amount of research, testing, and feedback.
The frame has three features that reflect the three goals that I've set out for this frame.
I started this project in January of 2024 and after three months of personal testing and feedback from beta testers, I am proud to release the Hachidorii V2 75mm Whoop Frame.
