I wanted to use this old stage lamp as decoration for my apartment. But 500 watts are a litte bit over the top for that idea. So I swopped it with a 4.2 watt OSRAM G9 LED bulb. It's supposed tu run with 230 volt mains. So please know what you're doing in case you plan to do this too.
There is no need to do permanent damage to the stage lamp. Just solder some wires to the G9s terminals and add them to the main connections of the lamp. If needed, the additional wires can be removed and the original 500W bulb can be put back in no time.
