Summary

This Guy wire system for SOTA/POTA is a bit more than just rings for a Spiderbeam 7m mast:

Its winders are also rope tensioners, like those used for tents. This makes trimming the wires easy and fast, exactly what you need on a windy mountain top!

Recommended to use the combination of the ring for the lowest element and the short winders/tensioners. If you have a ring for higher elements, you might need some assistance in erecting the mast. The larger winders are needed for a total wire length >2.5m (when you use a 3mm paracord).

The ring has two different inner diameters to allow it to rest on the lower element without the mast being fully erected. If you don't want to use supports for this feature, just use the openSCAD file and enter twice the same diameter.

If you need specific diameters for your mast you can use the OpenSCAD file or write me a comment.

What you need:

-3mm paracord(550 paracord) of your choice in an appropriate length. use this formula to
aproximately get the optimal length of each section: [height of ring above
ground]1.75sqrt(2)
-3 Tent Pegs
Building instructions:

Print a ring of your choice and 3 winders (PC/ASA recommended, Prusament PETG works as well). Use supports for the rings!
Cut three paracord to the length of your choice
Mount them on the ring. Use a Bowline (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bowline) (German: Palstek) or something similar useful as knot.
Thread the paracord through the winders/tensioners according to the pictures. Use a Bowline/Palstek again!

The file named "guy_wire_ring small.stl" is approximately 28mm wide, fitting the mast linked below and other small masts.

this is the mast (fishing rod) that I bought: https://www.amazon.com/Kamonda-Fishing-3-6-7-2m-Fiberglass-Telescopic/dp/B096RKGNRY/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1AUVIPRT1C63A&keywords=telescopic%2Bfishing%2Bpole%2B7.2m&qid=1666047976&s=sporting-goods&sprefix=telescopic%2Bfishing%2Bpole%2B7.2m%2Csporting%2C88&sr=1-1&th=1
