The file 'Guitar Amp Jack Socket Blocker 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 973.6KB.
This Thing is a small tapered plastic blocker for 6.35mm (1.4") jack sockets, commonly found on the back of guitar amplifiers.
When gigging with my guitar amp I noticed that occasionally I'd connect the footswitch jack plug into the wrong socket, which would cause some odd noises until I could work out what I'd done. On some amplifiers, connecting to the wrong socket could easily cause damage to the amplifier or to whatever you connected to it.
Initially I just covered up all the other sockets with duct tape, but after a while I wanted a better looking solution, so I designed a blocker plug which blanks off the socket.
These are designed with a taper, but the exact internal dimensions of 1/4" sockets varies quite a lot, so to achieve the perfect fit, I recommend wrapping a single layer of electrical tape around the plug, which provides a good fit and stops the blocker falling out.
