A replacement part for Grohe faucets that use a thin flexible diaphragm cover over the button to activate the spray. This one fits the Ladylux Café, but may fit other Grohe faucets as well. The Grohe part number is 07379SA1. It used to be readily available as a “Universal Diapraghm” (their spelling) but it is now discontinued.
This design should be printed from TPU or flexible filament. I used Polymaker Polyflex TPU95. The part should be placed with the flat surface on the build plate with supports required only under the four tabs on the sides. I made the lower perimeter of the button thicker and stiffer so that the two-pieces used by Grohe would not be needed.
Before installing the button diaphragm make sure any stringing is removed from the interior of the button. It may also help to smear the interior of the button with a small amount of plumbers grease to allow the actuating arm on the faucet move freely within the button. This replacement part fits snugly to the faucet head once all four tabs are inserted.
