The file 'Grogu – Baby Yoda – The Child – Now With Separate Eyes! 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 1.6 MB.
I wanted separate eyes so watched a few tutorials for Blender, used my decent knowledge of Tinkercad, and made it happen. Big thanks to misubisu for making the model I used in this remix.
I used Blender to make the eye sockets. I selected the edges around the eye, extruded by -5mm, then flattened. I imported the head into Tinkercad, placed spheres in the eye sockets, then converted the head to a hole and combined it with the balls to make the eyes. I then added the numbers. I'm sure I could have done this all in Blender but I'm pretty fast in Tinkercad. I obviously need to spend more time watching Blender videos but I'm a nerd desperate to make Grogu's for his nieces and nephews.
The eyes are the exact size of the sockets in Grogu's head, so you'll probably need to print them just a little smaller to fit. I printed them 5% smaller and they press fit and aren't coming out.
The eyes have a slight bevel at the base but I still had to cut the excess around the edge.
Both the eye sockets and eyes are numbered. The eyes should be oriented with the numbers in the upright orientation, not upside down.
*** I did not use supports in the eye socket area but I did use supports under the ears.
*** I did not use a brim with the eyes because it's a flat base and sticks well to the build plate already.
