Update: Added Upper Frame Connector. Again, I don't know if these work as they have not been tested. They were roughly and quickly done. I used the original model for dimensions. Please let me know if you make these and test them out as I would be curious to know if they work. I am new to 3D modeling but trying to learn.
This is just a quick test. I only sliced the original model and added enough room to use 20x40mm extrusion instead of 20mm. It was done in about 10mins in sketchup. If somebody wants to be a guinea pig and test it out, I'd like to know if it works. When I get more time do a proper redesign.
Note: This is to use 2040 on the vertical rails only. The horizontal parts of the frame would still be 2020 extrusion. You could potentially offset 2040 and make it work? Or turn then so they're flat.
