I've found one of the most frustrating limitations of the genuine GraviTrax parts to be the lack of versatile connectors for sections with both elevation changes and angled turns.
While custom-shaped rails offer some flexibility, in practice, curved rails aren't as adaptable as one might hope within the GraviTrax system (which is why I've designed my Curved Rails to fit more snugly).
Consequently, I've always believed that tiles capable of handling both elevation changes and angled turns would be the most significant addition to the GraviTrax experience. (The ability to connect multiple such turns would be an even greater enhancement.)
While it's relatively easy to create tiles that cater to specific turn angles or gradients, the resulting number of tiles that need to be prepared becomes overwhelmingly large.
Therefore, I require tiles capable of handling multiple turn angles, merges, and gradients simultaneously.
After much experimentation, I've developed three tile designs that I believe effectively address these challenges. I'd like to share them with you!
While "60+120 deg tiles" and "120+180 deg tiles" can handle almost all graded turns,
“5-in-1 tiles”are able to manage the merges and rapid-entry 60-degree turns (by treating it as 300 degrees), that neither “60+120 deg” and “120+180 deg” can address
Basically, the "60+120 deg tiles" is the most important and helpful. Having a few of these on hand is really convenient.
Note : One of the three types has already been uploaded as a 5-in-1 tile with a gradient, type-c connector : https://www.printables.com/model/1048017-5-in-1-out-tile-with-a-10mm-gradient
