This is a mount I made for a GoPro camera. I have to take videos in a place that isn't too safe for me to be standing. I bought a roughly 10 feet tall, weighted microphone stand with a 5/8" threaded hole in the tip. This will elevate the camera to the desired height, plus keep me out of the way of moving equipment. I would then remotely control the camera from my phone.
I included the bare serrated teeth STL for you to play with with on your own projects. The serrated hinges have 16 positions, thus giving you the ability to move your object in 22.5 degree increments.
For the projects, the serrated hinge inner hole is 0.30 inch diameter, while its outside diameter is 1 inch. The two separate mount parts have different sized holes. The mount with a larger hole is 0.70 inches to accommodate the 5/8 inch bolt. The mount with the smaller hole is 0.30 inches to accommodate the 1/4-20 bolt to connect to a threaded GoPro mount.
