This is a hood and filter holder for the DYS 3-axis SMART GoPro gimbal.

Each filter is about 2$, so I use them to both protect the lens and reduce the shutter speed of the GoPro, for smoother video. When the filter gets scratched or dull, I just throw it away and put a new one. The part is designed for easy filter swap in the field, without any tools.
Total weight with screws and filter is about 10g.
The purpose of the hood or cap is to reduce glare from the sun, but mostly it's there to prevent propeller shadow strobing.
My GoPro was modified with a 4.35mm 10MP Lens with a 72 degree field of view, so I don't know if the hood won't be visible when using the stock lens. Therefore, I included a version without the hood.
The part is attached to the gimbal bracket using two (x2) 4mm M2 screws. You need the bracket or it won't fit. Look at the pictures to figure out how to assemble it.
