The file 'GoPro Adapter To Tripod Quick Release 3D Printer Model' is (STL) file type, size is 245.7KB.
I made this model to bridge the gap between a tripod I have with a quick release and my GoPro.
I'm not sure if there is a standard for the quick release or not, if you have one though you should probably check that it's compatible… and adjust accordingly if needed.
A metal hex screw and matching hex nut are required:
Qty (1) Hex Head Cap Screw, M5x25mm long
Qty (1) Hex Nut, M5
(I used stainless steel for each of the pieces above)
Both the screw and the nut are light presses into the prints. Since the screws are constantly being adjusted it's best that they're made of metal so they don't break or wear out too quickly.
I'm posting a few of the prints I use regularly for my phone and GoPro so check around on the page for other versions of this as well as other accessories!
There is a dust cap included, definitely optional… The little tabs are pretty fine and once in place they can't be removed without breaking them. Most of the prints I've made for the GoPro that use this dust cover have actually broken off :( so yeah, it's not necessary…
This is a perfect “End of Spool” Print too, if you know what I mean…
If you'd like a quick run through of the accessories I've printed and use often check out the “Behind the Scenes” video below:
I hope you enjoy! Thanks for checking it out! If you like things like this be sure to check out the many other models I have here.
