Summary

I received a shiny new Google Home Hub (Now known as the Nest Hub by Google, same thing) and I wanted to immediately mount it in my kitchen under my cabinets so I can use it as a recipe / music / news / video device. Unfortunately the home hub doesn't include any provisions for mounting. So I decided to fix that.

Instructions:
You will need 2 25mm long M5 bolts and nuts, and a pair of wood screws to mount this. A cord management thingy is not a bad idea here either. Bolt the brackets to the main hanger, slip the google home in, then screw the thing to the underside of your cabinet. You may need a spacer to get proper fit here. Gravity holds it in place. it seems to stay pretty well, you may use some adhesive double sided tape to secure it more firmly if desired. The volume buttons and the rear microphone mute slider are still accessible from the back without dismounting the unit. It may be lifted out for cleaning or service as needed.

The designer makes no claims on any of these terms, all rights to those specific terms remains with Google and the Alphabet corporation. Update 1: Some people have reported the main ring isn't 100% flat on their bed. It looks flat on mine, i'm not sure why, but I've uploaded a new version anyways. this variant includes a small 20mm wide loop at the top designed to accept a Velcro loop to attach the cord behind the home hub up out of the way. This variant will obstruct the microphone on off button, so if you use that regularily you might want the other one. I also re cut the back and shaved a .05mm layer off to hopefully truly make it flat as a pancake. Cable_mgmt_g_home_hub_hanger_main_ring_1_0_a Is the new file. I haven't tried printing it yet, but it should print without support.
