Replacement Goodman style handle for an eBay special canister dive light.
The dive light shipped with an aluminium handle that continuously came loose and was at risk of loosing screws. This never gave confidence in using the light, but the light head kicked out a lot of light.
I have tried to keep the mounting quite flexible, if your light can attach with M5 screws / bolts then you have a fair chance of making it work for you.
I needed to include a little platform for my light to sit nicely, that platform could be removed trivially if needed.
Assembly requires:
1x M5 30mm hex head bolt (epoxy it into the thumbscrew).
1x M5 Brass heat set insert (mount horizontally into the angle block inserted from scalloped side).
2x M4 20mm cap head bolts run up through the light mount into the angle block.
2x M4 Brass heat set insert (mount vertically into the angle block inserted from top side).
2x M4 10mm button head bolts to attach palm to thumb plate adjust gap to be comfortable.
2x M4 Brass heat set insert (mount vertically into the thumb plate from top side).
Optional 1x 10mm M8 washer to act as a shim between thumbscrew and thumb plate.
