I wasn't able to find simple and compact carriage for use with titan extruder, E3D v6 hotend and BLtouch so I have created my own - Goliathus extruder. I'm using it on my custom Anycubic I3 Mega but it should work on all types of Prusa printers with for example this mount: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:926794. Fan duct isn't ideal but it works. (Unfortunettly not as good as the stock one) If I will not be happy with the results I will make better one in the future.

I was inspired by this carriage https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2023947 but I have designed mine from the beginning on my own.

Also check my I3 Mega ULTIMATE upgrade guide! There is a lot of knowledge which may help You get the best results. You will find it here: http://bit.ly/2OVbu5Z

You will need:

Links above are for parts which I'm using and I can recommend. You can ofcourse use original parts from E3D, but as You probably know, they are much more expensive.

BLtouch offsets:
- X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 24
- Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -0.6

ATTENTION!
Even with really low mounted heated bed it's limiting maximum height. Mine is about 199 mm, so please check it before You will be printing tall models.

Also, You will need to print this part: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2838383 to install this extruder on Anycubic I3 Mega.

It may be tricky, but as You can see on the photos it's possible :)

Changelog:

  • 19.06.2018 - I have made new fan mount which allows You to adjust the height. Also I was trying to make better fan duct, but I couldn't' achieve better results at this moment.
  • 14.09.2018 - Added .STP files. I don't have time and energy for finishing this project, so I hope that with these files someone will be able to make a better fanduct for this build. I have some ideas, but I don't want to go back to this project. It (All I3 Mega upgrades) already consumed too much of my time. Let me know if You made a better fanduct, or If You made more changes to fit it, so I will be able to upload finished project. Or make a remix If You want.
