The file 'Golf Cart Windshield Hinge (EZGO) 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 8.5KB.
So the flexible part of my old hinge finally cracked apart. Replacements online were for a different style hinge and would require removing the glued on portion of the hinge. Instead I printed this.
Installation was with soap and water and pulling with needle nose pliers. Actually, not too hard. Put the middle section in first on one half, then slide the other half on and line them up. Then install each end strip by lining up both sides and pulling the strip with the pliers.
Seems to work for me. You could, of course, print in clear TPU, and even print a few more and make it a more solid hinge again by closing the gaps between them.
You could print it in PLA and it will work...right up to the point you try and fold the windshield, which will be the first and last time you do that.
Pictures show factory hinge, clear and the printed repair in black TPU.
