The file 'Godzilla Silhouette 3D Printer Model' is (3mf,stl) file type, size is 2.1MB.
Hello, this is my first project I've uploaded. A friend wanted a cool Godzilla print to go over their door. So I came up with this in tinkercad. I'm not a pro and likely there is a better way to do this. If so, let me know!
Use file Godzilla.3mf for simple import
How I printed it:
NO AMS
Files:
Godzilla with frame: Print layers 1-3 in red. Put a pause in at layer 4. Switch to black.
Godzilla Kanji Facedown: It's facing downward to give the surface a very smooth look. It is slightly fragile due to how thin the connecting points are between the letters. Allow to fully cool before removing from hotplate. Use small dabs of glue on the large flat areas and stick where you like it.
Printer settings
Bambu Labs A1 with no AMS:
0.4mm Nozzle, smooth PEI plate, default 0.20mm Standard.
Turn ironing topmost surfaces on for a smoother finish on Godzilla. (OPTIONAL, but recommended)
Total print time is about 5hrs for both files. This is a 256x256x5.9mm print. Be sure your hot plate is properly centered, and you must watch during the warm up to REMOVE THE EXTRUSION TEST FROM THE BUILD PLATE right after it does it. Otherwise it will interfere with the print itself.
If you scale this down, leave Z axis at 5.9mm. I wouldn't scale down below 50%, you can but the details on Godzilla get lost.
