This is a cup holder designed to hold cans upright while canoeing. The holder is gimbled in the x-y plane.
The holder was designed to accept 16 oz cans in a coozy. The Can_Riser can be inserted inside the 16 oz coozy to allow you to use it with a 12 oz can.
The clamp requires some hardware. The gimbled holder is held together with M4x14 pan-head screws and and M4 thin (2.2mm) nuts. The clamp also requires a leveling mount (McMaster-Carr PN #6103K166), a 10-32 2" bolt, and a 10-32 nut.
A 10-32 nut and an M4 threaded insert (McMaster-Carr PN #97163A152) must be set into the gunwale clamp part using either a torch or soldering iron. Additionally the 10-32 bolt head must be set into the Screw_Handle using a torch or lighter.
Printed in ASA so the tolerances are loose to account for shrinkage.
The cage top and bottom parts require support.
