I had trouble printing the gift box and bow on my 3D printer. Print failures on the box were resolved by slicing with a thinner layer height (0.12 mm). On the other hand, the bows were problematic for me especially where the print was as thin as 1 line. It could have had something to do with my slicing, 3D printer (Creality Ender-3 V2 Neo) settings/calibration, and/or the filament I was using, but in any case the bows either looked bad or failed altogether.

In this remix, I’ve modified the bow so that it is at least 2 lines thick all the way around, and I also made thin versions of the bow by cropping out the “ends” of the ribbon which were not always printing correctly for me. Consider using a brim for the bows to ensure good bed adhesion—that has helped me avoid piles of spaghetti.

As the name implies, the container is large enough to fit a standard 85 x 54 mm gift card which is placed diagonally across the box. It will also fit any object that is 62 x 62 x 54 mm (LWH) or less. I’ve been printing many of these and am now getting consistently good prints. That being said, I’d encourage you to also check out the original design in the event that you like it more and can successfully print those models.
