The file 'Giant T-rex Head, Split For Printing 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 70.6 MB.
I'm friends with the people down at the corner pizza joint, and they used to have a paper banner advertising their carnivore challenge: Eat an entire 16" carnivore pizza by yourself and get a free tee-shirt, and the pizza is free.
I printed a little t-rex head from UWCharlie1983's model as a gift for the manager, and she went so nuts over it that i decided to see if i could make a big one.
This was broken into pieces and put together on a first-gen ender3 with an ender extender400XL kit, and a crtouch ABL setup.
I broke it into pieces using tinkercad, and printed the pieces and superglued it. Even with an 0.8 nozzle @ 50mm/sec, each piece took anywhere from 12-25 hours to print. All in PLA and PLA+ from microcenter.
The pieces were then superglued together, and rubberbanded to maintain pressure. The head was then gifted to the manager, and she tracked down a professional artist to do a KILLER paintjob.
Thanks again for the original model, UWCharlie1983!
