Hello Gang!
It's been a while since my last postings here. Now the time has come to publish another train engine - General Electric GG1.
The locomotive is made in 1:87 scale and I'm printing it at the moment. At this point it is a dummy loco, but I'm working on installing an electric motor, so that it can run on standard 16.5 mm tracks - the HO standard.
N.B.
There are a few very tiny parts, such as ladders, handles, horn and insulators for the pantograph - I doubt it that any FDM printer can handle them, so the workout is SLA/DLP, if you'd like to have perfect details.
Speaking of the pantograph - there are thousands of metal made pantographs on the market - you'll just have to find the best pair on the www.ebay.com
N.B. 2
I doubt it that the complete model is printable - it is more like for a reference
