A good friend of mine was getting some serious surgery. I made this for them to cheer them up. Prints flat, with no support necessary. All of the letters and pieces are joined, and it will stand up by itself. If it's not readily apparent, the bottom is a base that allows it to stand quite nicely. Add some red paint and you're all set!
In the years since I've made this, I'm very humbled by the number of makes it's gotten. I made it for a friend who was going through some tough times in life, and it brought them needed comfort. I really hope it's done the same for your loved ones as well.
