I threw this together to cheer up a grandmother when she was in the hospital for a few days. Perhaps it can cheer up a few more grandparents here. It is comprised of two parts, a placard and a removable stand. I have provided a second version of the placard, modified for a grandfather instead of a grandmother.
I printed this on a 3D Systems ProJet 650, a full-color plaster printer. It should also work well on an FDM machine, although you will unfortunately miss out on the colors.
Most users will probably want to use the "unnamed" STL file, since this doesn't say "Love, Steve". Users with Solidworks, however, can download the SolidWorks files and change the text as they like (i.e. sub in their own name for "Steve"). I have also included "unified assembly" STL's in which the stand is already seated inside the placard.
