This stick grenade (Stielhandgranate) is based on the Model 24 "Potato Masher" stick grenades used by German troops in WWII.
The threads work, and have generous tolerances. Once everything is screwed all of the pieces hold true without any wobble.
The handle is wood, and I shaped it the tools I had on hand. (A lathe would have been really handy here) The exposed part of the handle is 9.5 inches long. The two smaller parts that attach to the printed pieces are .5 inch long.
