The file 'Geometry: Dodecahedron Corner Connectors For Wooden Skewers 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 90.4KB.
This corner connectors are used to join together inexpensive wooden skewers (barbecue sticks) into one of the Platonic solids: Dodecahedron (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Platonic_solid). This is an inexpensive way to create different forms for education purpose possibly in schools.
There are 2 variants with 3.5 and 3.2 mm hole (approx 1/8″), this fits the most common wooden skewers on the market around us. We can create different dimensions if needed.
You can see the original design http://a360.co/2DKmBcx.
This is a follow up to our previous Icosahedron project https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2769879.
This project is a part of our journey to teach my daughter Emma about geometry, 3d design and 3d printing.
Hope you will find this useful!
