The file 'Geocaching Coins, Aka Geocoins – 3 Ways 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 164.2KB.
With all of the public group events canceled, now's the time to explore the woods and parks and get in some Geocaching! I wanted to create a fast printing coin that I could leave behind at our finds with the actual Geocaching logo.
I created 3 different styles depending on how involved you want it to be. The debossed is for quick single color printing. The embossed version can be color changed at 4mm to create a different color logo. The other option is a two color version where the logo is printed as an inlay. I used the same method that CHEP (Chuck Hellebuyck) posted in the following video. It is extremtly simple and the results speak for themselves! Just make sure you have a good first layer when starting. As you can see in the photo, my version had a little bit of extra squish on the first layer, but it still came out very useable.
